1970 Chevelle

Owner James Meeks, Woodstock, Georgia.
We completed numerous repairs and upgrades to Jim’s car over the past year. From a full suspension upgrade both front and rear; transmission upgrade; rear axle repair; wiring harness replacement; and many other cosmetic enhancements, which included a multi-step paint correction.
We truly appreciate the opportunity to work on his car, and hope that we met or exceeded his expectations.
Thanks Jimmy and Happy Motoring!

Update on Jimmy’s 1970 Chevelle

Not satisfied with the performance of his tired 454 Engine, he opted to install a new Crate 454 Engine with all the dressings and upgrades. Kevin Harrison has been tirelessly working long days and nights getting the new motor installed and all the hardware to work correctly. Contrary to popular belief, those TV Automotive Reality shows are full of hogwash. Nothing goes smoothly on a retro fit of a new engine in an old car. Everything from motor mounts, to fan wiring, to gauge sensors, to header fitment, and a thousand other “nit-noid” issues will have you pulling your hair out. It’s on the homestretch now though. We’re waiting on a few small parts to finish up Jimmy’s project, and then hopefully start working on another project waiting in the wings.
