The Inside Story – Who are we?

First and foremost – we are a small business. For now it’s just Kevin Harrison and Tom Jenkins working on cars in a small shop in Woodstock, Georgia. Kevin and Tom are both United States Veterans. Tom retired from the US Coast Guard after serving over 21 years on active duty. Kevin finished serving 4 years on active duty in the US Army. Both of us at the shop live our lives with the utmost integrity and commitment to duty. We will never compromise our integrity for the almighty dollar – Never. There is one true and hard fact about being “Trustworthy” – once someone loses your trust, you can never get it back. And that is something we take with the utmost sincerity.

Second – we’ll treat your Car better than you’ll treat your Car. Now that’s a bold statement! But that’s how we think and work at All Classic. In thinking and working that way, we never need to worry about “Did we do the right thing with the customers car?” Sure, YOU can cut corners and save a few bucks, but that will be YOUR decision, not ours. We’re often asked this question: “What would you do if it were your car?” That is such a hard question to answer with all the variables in completing the repairs. The short answer is always: “Any job worth doing – is worth doing correctly.” It doesn’t matter if it’s yours, mine or anyone else’s. We show you the before and after pictures; we show and/or give you the old parts back; we provide a written inspection document (if requested) of the work completed and needing completion; we’re not the cheapest shop in town; we don’t cut deals to save you money that was wasted at another shop; we think and treat our customers as friends and family; you talk directly with us – the mechanic and shop owners – no service writers or middle man to deal with; we typically have a month backlog in scheduling.

Regarding “who we are not,” we are not a production style shop. Meaning, we don’t cram them in and punch them out. We also don’t “pad” the ticket. If it needs fixing – we say so. If it needs monitoring – we say so. If it’s fine – we say that also. If you say don’t fix it – that’s fine also. We will never pressure a customer into us doing the work – Never!

Lastly, nearly every owner of a Classic Car has a horror story of  “repairs gone wrong.” We’re very transparent, very honest, and very humble. What you see is what you get – no smoke and mirrors. So if you’re one of those owners that had a bad experience, come talk to us. We can’t fix things going backwards – but we can improve things going forward. Come talk to us, walk around the shop, see our work, and then make a decision to bring your car in for service. I know – it’s personal – like picking a Dentist for the first time. Again, just give us a call or stop by the shop. We’ll promise, no tooth extractions on the first visit. Be Well and Happy Motoring.
